Overview

The Digital Products app is a complete system for creating and selling digital content directly from your GoConverso website. It goes beyond simple file downloads — you can build structured courses with modules, create quizzes, schedule content releases, and customize dedicated sales pages for each product.

Getting Started

Creating a Digital Product

Open the Digital Products App

Navigate to DashboardAppsDigital Products. You’ll see the product dashboard with your listings and stats.

Click “Create Product”

Click the Create Product button to launch the 4-step product creation wizard.

Step 1: Choose Product Type

Select one of the 5 product types. Each type has a different content structure:

  • Ebook — Single file upload with optional preview pages
  • File Bundle — Multiple files grouped as one product
  • Online Course — Modules with structured lessons
  • Membership — Time-limited content access
  • Event — Date-based ticket access

Step 2: Basic Information

Fill in the product details:

Step 3: Add Content

Attach content modules to your product. You can:

  • Select existing modules from your Content Library
  • Create new modules directly in the wizard
  • Set module order, drip schedules, and lock requirements

Step 4: Review & Publish

Review all product details, preview the sales page, and publish. Products start in Draft status — you can publish when ready.

Product Statuses

Content Library

The Content Library is where you create and manage reusable content modules. Modules can be shared across multiple products — create once, use everywhere.

Modules

A module is a self-contained unit of content (like a chapter or lesson). Each module contains one or more sections of different types.

To create a module:

  1. Go to DashboardAppsDigital ProductsContent Library
  2. Click Create Module
  3. Add a title, description, category, and difficulty level
  4. Add sections using the section editor

Section Types

Each module can contain any combination of these 5 section types:

Sections can be reordered within a module using drag and drop.

Quiz Builder

The Quiz section type includes a full quiz builder:

  • Multiple choice — Single correct answer from options
  • Multiple select — Multiple correct answers
  • True/False — Binary choice
  • Fill in the blank — Text input answers

Each quiz tracks scores and can be configured as required (must pass to proceed) or optional.

Use quizzes at the end of course modules to verify understanding before unlocking the next module. This improves completion rates and learning outcomes.


Sales Pages

Every digital product gets its own dedicated sales page — a landing page designed to convert visitors into buyers.

Public URL

Each product gets a public URL at goconverso.com/{username}/products/{product-slug} that you can share on social media, email campaigns, or embed on external websites.


Checkout & Delivery

Payment Processing

Digital product purchases are processed through Stripe:

  • Secure payment with credit/debit cards
  • Automatic currency conversion
  • Payment confirmation emails
  • Revenue tracked in your dashboard

Guest Checkout

Buyers do not need a GoConverso account to purchase. The guest checkout flow:

Buyer clicks “Buy Now”

On the product’s sales page, the buyer clicks the purchase button.

Enter email and payment

A 2-step checkout collects:

  1. Email address (for delivery)
  2. Payment details (Stripe secure form)

Instant access

After payment, the buyer immediately receives:

  • Download link (for ebooks and file bundles)
  • Access link (for courses, memberships, and events)
  • Confirmation email with all access details

Guest buyers are automatically added to your CRM as clients with their purchase history. If they already exist as a client, the purchase is linked to their existing record.

Content Access Duration

You can set an access duration for each product:

When access expires, the buyer sees a message prompting them to repurchase.


Client Portal Access

Buyers access their purchased digital products through the Client Portal — the same branded portal used for appointments and projects.

How Buyers Access Products

  1. Buyer receives a purchase confirmation email with an access link
  2. They authenticate via OTP (one-time password sent to their email)
  3. The portal shows all their purchased products with download/access buttons

Course Progress

For online courses, the portal shows:

  • Module completion status
  • Current progress percentage
  • Next module to complete

Content Management

Drip Content

For courses and memberships, you can schedule when modules become available:

Media Library

Upload and manage media files used in your digital products:

  • 4 storage buckets: Videos, Images, Audios, Documents
  • File management: Upload, rename, delete, organize into folders
  • Reuse across products: Same media file can be used in multiple modules
  • Storage tracking: Monitor your storage usage by plan

Storage limits vary by plan. Check your current usage in Dashboard → Settings to avoid hitting limits when uploading large files.
